Sanderson is currently in his third season as a staff coach for CVYSA.  He is the head coach for the U13 Girls, U12 Girls, and U8 Academy.  He is also a coach for the winter FootSkills program.  

Josh spent three years as the Men’s Assistant Coach at Wartburg College. Wartburg finished 1st place in the IIAC in 2010, and won the IIAC tournament in 2009, advancing to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. He also coached at Bemidji State University in Minnesota while attending graduate school during the 2007-2008 seasons. Sanderson was the NDYSA 2009 Girl’s Coach of the Year, while coaching at Red River Soccer Club in Fargo, ND.

He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Biology Education and Bemidji State University in 2009 with a master's degree in Sports Studies.
