Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association

Nelson was a four year starter and Team Captain for Decorah High School; he then played at Luther College where he was a four year letter winner and two year starter for the Norse. He is currently the Assistant for the Wartburg Knights Women’s Soccer Team. He was recently the Head Boys Coach at Decorah High School where he led the Vikings to a 75-13 record in five seasons including a 3rd place finish at the 2010 Boys Iowa State Soccer Tournament. His other coaching experience includes two years as assistant with the Luther College Norse Men’s Soccer Team and seven years as a youth coach for the Decorah United Soccer Club.
