For U08, U10, U12 matches, the home team coach is responsible for finding a referee. In order of preference, These may be uncertified parent volunteers, certified youth referees, or certified adult referees. Uncertified youth may not act as the center referee on any CVYSA match at any level at any time.
U14-U19 matches will be assigned by the Community Referee Coordinator working with CVSOA Assigners. If referees cannot be assigned, parent volunteers or the coaches will have to referee the match. Uncertified youth may not act as the center referee on any CVYSA match at any level at any time.
It is the responsibility of the referee to contact an assigner to get matches arranged directly with coaches assigned in the Arbiter before the match and to accept the match when assigned. The referee must also complete the match report in the Arbiter after the match. Certified youth referees will be paid for all U10-U19 matches worked that are in the Arbiter with completed match reports. Certified Adults will be paid for matches that do not involve their children. Checks will be mailed twice per month.
One way to let the assigner know is to complete this form.
