The purpose of the Goalkeeper Academy is to introduce and instruct keepers on the basic to the advanced skills need for today's game.

Technique: Catching and Handling, stance, distribution

Tactics: Organization, Back pass, Sweeper-Keeper Tactics

Mental Skills: Leadership, self analysis, Training ethics

Physical Dimension: Proper warm-up, Footwork, Strength an agility

These are just a few examples of what will be touched on during the sessions.

When:

• U11-U12-U13   Monday 5:00 - 6:00
• U14 +   Thursday 5:00 - 6:00

Where: Cedar Valley Soccer Complex Goalkeeping area (North of Field 11 and east of Field 10)
